Malaysia & Singapore is set to launch Vaccinated Travel Lane between Changi and KLIA

For months, Malaysian cannot go into Singapore via Causeway neither air, but now, with a Vaccinated Travel Lane or VTL for fully vaccinated travelers, will kick off between Malaysia and Singapore by 29 November after a conversation call between the Prime Minister, Ismail Sabri and Singapore PM, Lee Hsien Loong.



But, theirs a kick, you will need to get a flight from KLIA, as this is a first step of the VTL to Singapore. But in the future, you can cross via Causeway and the Second Link.


They will be subjected to COVID test and Quarantine or Stay-Home Notice (SHN).


The Malaysian prime minister says:

"the VTLs are another important milestone in the longstanding Malaysia-Singapore cooperation."

and Lee also said:

"Singapore and Malaysia enjoy deep, warm and multi-faceted relations. I am very happy that both our countries are finally able to restart cross-border travel through the VTLs. This will help revive our economies, restore our people-to-people ties, and strengthen our bilateral relationship."

This will also bring more opportunity for tourism and businesses between the country.
